Are IsaDora's products vegan?

IsaDora is a vegan-friendly brand and has been 100% vegan since autumn 2024

How can I tell if my IsaDora product is vegan?

To check if a product is vegan, we recommend reviewing the ingredient list on the product page. Vegan products are clearly marked with a “vegan-friendly” symbol on the packaging. Starting in autumn 2024, all newly launched products are vegan. If you’ve purchased an older item, you can verify its vegan status by checking the ingredient list on the packaging.

Is IsaDora cruelty-free?

Taking responsibility for both people and animals is a core principle of our brand. Since we started in 1983, we have been cruelty free, fragrance free, and clinically tested. We strive to always offer products that are kind to both our planet and the animals in it.

Where are IsaDora's products made?

Our products are produced locally in Malmö, Sweden. In 2024, we are taking a significant step toward increased sustainability by moving production back to Sweden. By doing this, we reduce our carbon emissions and promote a more sustainable supply chain. This move also strengthens IsaDora's position in the global market and enables us to continue offering customers innovative, sustainable, and skin-friendly beauty products.

Are IsaDora's products allergy-friendly?

IsaDora's products are fragrance free, clinically tested, and designed for sensitive skin and eyes. With the growing demand for products for sensitive skin, this has always been one of our highest priorities. Our "Hypo-Allergenic" concept includes allergy-friendly products specifically developed for extra sensitive eyes and is certified by Asthma Allergy Nordic. These products contain carefully selected ingredients, free from allergens and irritating substances.

Are IsaDora's products good for the skin?

IsaDora's products are fragrance free, clinically tested, and designed for sensitive skin and eyes. We take pride in always using innovative, caring, and gentle ingredients that are good for the skin. Our focus on quality and safety ensures you can feel confident when using our products.

Do IsaDora's products contain nickel?

IsaDora is committed to ensuring the highest quality and safety in our products. Regarding nickel, our cosmetic products contain heavy metals at concentrations not exceeding 10 ppm (parts per million). This value is stated under 10 ppm because the detection limit of the method used has its limitations. We strive to offer products that are as safe and allergy-friendly as possible, and we are always open to answering any questions you may have.

Does IsaDora test its products on animals?

Not testing on animals has been at the core of our company since we were first established in 1983. Despite regulations, we have never tested our products on animals, do not ask third parties to do so, and will never do so.

Do IsaDora's products contain PFAS?

No, we do not formulate any IsaDora products with PFAS. We carefully select ingredients to ensure that PFAS are not used in any of our formulas. Our development process is designed to actively avoid these substances at every stage, from concept to final product.

This is part of our long-standing commitment to safe, responsible beauty. We believe that high-performing cosmetics should never compromise your health or the environment. That’s why we’ve also signed ChemSec’s PFAS Movement Commitment, supporting a PFAS-free future in the beauty industry.

Why are IsaDora's products sealed?

For hygiene reasons and your safety, it is important to us that you are the first and only person to open an IsaDora product when purchased. Therefore, all our eye and lip products are sealed. In addition to this reason, this minimizes the number of opened/damaged products in stores. In the long run, we see this reducing the amount of product that needs to be discarded since the product is safe and protected until purchased.

What does ophthalmologically tested mean?

All our eye products are ophthalmologically tested and approved. This means they have been tested for safe use around the eyes in consultation with an eye doctor. So you, whether you wear contacts, glasses, or have very sensitive eyes, can trust our products.

How can I find out the ingredients in my IsaDora product?

On our website, you will find the complete ingredient list for each specific product. All products also have a complete ingredient list on the label.

Are IsaDora makeup brushes vegan-friendly?

Our brushes are vegan-friendly and made from high-quality synthetic hair.

How should I take care of my IsaDora pencils?

Use a sharp sharpener for IsaDora’s pencils - such as The Contour Kajal, All-in-One Lipliner, or The Brow Powder Pen - to keep the tip precise and the product fresh. We recommend the Pencil Sharpener Slim for best results.

How should I store IsaDora's felt-tip pens, such as the Flex Tip Eyeliner?

We recommend storing your felt-tip pens horizontally to prevent the tip from drying out or getting too much product. Before use, shake lightly.

Can I recycle old makeup products?

Yes – and with the Bower app, it’s easier and more sustainable than ever.

Makeup packaging often contains a mix of materials like plastic, metal, and mirrors, which can make sorting a challenge. That’s why IsaDora has partnered with the recycling app Bower, which guides you through the process step by step. The app can even recognize IsaDora products without a barcode and tell you exactly how to recycle them.

Here’s how it works:

  1. Download the Bower app to your phone.

  2. Scan the used IsaDora product you want to recycle.

  3. Follow the sorting instructions shown in the app.

  4. Recycle it at home or at your nearest recycling station.

  5. Earn rewards and track your positive environmental impact.

The IsaDora x Bower partnership is currently available in Sweden, Norway, and Finland, with full integration into local recycling systems. The Bower app also works in other countries. To see if it’s available in your location, visit getbower.com

By recycling properly, you help conserve resources, reduce carbon emissions, and promote a more circular way of consuming. IsaDora is proud to be the first beauty brand in Sweden to offer an AI-powered recycling solution — making it easier than ever to do good for the planet.
